Low vision is a term used to describe substantial visual impairment that cannot fully be corrected with contact lenses, eye surgery, medication, or glasses. Examples of visual impairment include, but are not limited to: legal blindness, tunnel vision, and blind spots.
Dr. Gregg was a Preceptor for Residents & served as the Director of Assistive Technology & coordinator for research.- To put it simply, Dr. Gregg knows his stuff! 😊He has helpful techniques, tips and tools to help people with Low Vision maximize their remaining vision. He has the training and expertise to help those seeking to regain their independence as they learn to live with permanent vision loss.

Dr. Pusateri is an Optometrist, an Ordained Minister of Word and Sacrament in the Reformed Church in America, serves as a Clinical Instructor/Adjunct Faculty for the Illinois College of Optometry and is both a National and International motivational speaker on Low Vision and Assistive Technology for people with vision impairment.
He is excited to bring his varied level of expertise to the community served by the Lac Vieux Desert Health Clinic.
In his spare time he enjoys running, woodworking, fishing, exercise, sports and movies.
His passion is caring for people, spending time with his family and friends.

Renee grew up in Wausau, Wisconsin, making her way back to the Northwoods after finishing her doctorate. She has been living here with her family for the last 13 years. She enjoys family time with her husband, Brad, and children, Vella and William, church activities, hiking, biking, skiing, gardening, and outdoor activities. Renee choose to work at LVD health center for several reasons. Most notably, she had worked with LVD Health Center, health director, Sadie, in the past and enjoyed her vision and leadership.
Renee particularly enjoys developing partnerships with patients to provide optimal care. She appreciates the caring environment of providers who value the patients and their well-being.
Renee graduated from Indiana University School of Optometry in 2000 and was part of a private practice in Kentucky until moving to Northern Wisconsin in 2007 to join the LDF health clinic as optical director. After having her second child, she moved to part time work at Forest County Potawatomi Health and Wellness where she continues to provide care. Renee joined the Lac Vieux Desert Team as a part time provider in 2017.
Renee is a member of Wisconsin Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. She holds a Wisconsin state license.
