After graduating from school in Madison, Jess ventured to Chicago where she worked in social work, education, and business. She enjoyed her jobs, but never felt fulfilled in her work. She did some self-reflection and found that her true calling was medicine. Going back to school to become a nurse practitioner was one of the best decisions she has ever made.
Jess spent four years working as a registered nurse at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL. There she gained experience working as float nurse in a hospital with 894 beds. Working as a registered nurse, prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, taught her the importance of compassion, prevention, patient education, and holistic care.
Jess is proud to be living and working in Northwoods, where she grew up.
In her free time she enjoys travelling, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
