Jessica A. Hoffman, FNP-BC
After graduating from school in Madison, I ventured to Chicago where I worked in social work, education, and business. I enjoyed my jobs, but never felt fulfilled in my work. I did some self-reflection and found that my true calling was medicine. Going back to school to become a nurse practitioner was one of the best decisions I ever made.
I spent four years working as a registered nurse at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL. There I gained experience working as float nurse in a hospital with 894 beds. Working as a registered nurse, prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, taught me the importance of compassion, prevention, patient education, and holistic care.
I am proud to be living and working in Northwoods, where I grew up.
In my free time I enjoy travelling, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
