Dr. Ashley Hilbrand came to LVDHC with experience in family practice from Bad River Health and Wellness Clinic and Aspirus Ironwood Clinic. She has a strong interest in rural health and initially did her training in Sioux Falls, South Dakota before deciding to come back to her home state of Michigan to practice in the rural Upper Peninsula. She decided to join LVDHC after learning about the strong teamwork and collaboration. She finds herself very passionate about preventative medicine and on focusing on decreasing morbidity with chronic disease management. In her spare time, she enjoys spoiling her dogs, hiking, and enjoying the views on Lake Superior.
