Dr. Padgett, graduated from the University of Michigan with a BS in Biology in 1989 and from Ohio State University with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 1995. She also attended Ohio State University for Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency. After residency she worked as a dental associate in Madison, WI, for five years. For the last fifteen years she owned a private dental practice in Rhinelander before retiring in January of 2020.
Dr. Padgett came to LVDCH because she enjoys working with an underserved population, that is open to the public and the ability to work in a beautiful, state of the art facility. She also enjoys helping people establish healthy, long term dental habits with a focus on prevention. Down the road one of her professional goals is to set up a prevention program for people who live in long term care facilities.
In her spare time Dr. Padgett is an officer in the Wisconsin Army National Guard. Her favorite thing to do is spend time with her husband, two grown children, and extended family. She also enjoys cooking and reading as well as anything outdoors, including hiking with her dogs, making maple syrup, ATVing, and collecting wild berries and mushrooms.
