Mia graduated from the Michigan College of Optometry in 2021 and has been practicing full scope medical optometry with LVDHC since the fall of 2022.

She practices primary care optometry, fits spectacle lenses and specialty contact lenses, and treats a variety of ocular diseases and conditions. She has experience treating glaucoma, managing diabetic retinopathy and cataracts, and treating dry eye disease and ophthalmic emergencies.

Mia is a registered InfantSEE provider and offers free comprehensive screening exams for all intants ages 6 months to 12 months old. Though she has a passion for pediatrics, she treats patients of all ages. Her goal is to provide eye care to the whole family. She recommends getting a comprehensive eye exam annually.

She is proud to be a Yooper and feels at home in the Northwoods. In her free time, Mia enjoys living in the country with her dogs and enjoying the beauty of the UP. She loves to deer hunt, go ice fishing, and spend time outdoors with friends and family.
