Mark came to LVDHC after working as a hospitalist for 2 years where he gained valuable experience in managing acute and chronic conditions in hospitalized patients. He is excited to work in the primary care setting and looks forward to providing exceptional health care to the community.
Before becoming a Physician Assistant, Mark had a successful career as a Medical Service Corps Officer in the U.S. Army. During his time in the military he was deployed to Iraq and Kuwait and was honorably discharged at the rank of Captain. After his time in the military, he lived and worked in Peru for 2 years as an environmental and health Peace Corps volunteer.
Mark’s medical interests are in primary care, preventative medicine, as well as integrative and naturopathic medicines. He enjoys spending his free time engaged in outdoor activities, exercising, and reading. He is also interested in gardening, identifying plants and mushrooms, and hopes to soon raise chickens and bees in his backyard.
